For the first few minutes, DTW Airport parking is free at the cell phone lots. The cell phone lot at Detroit Airport is for arrival pickups for friends and family only.

Electric Vehicle (EV) parking stations located at the McNamara and Big Blue Deck parking structures are provided at no additional cost by Detroit Metropolitan Airport. At present, EV stations are only accessible in the Long-Term Parking areas of the parking decks. The South Mobile Phone lot is also situated at the parking stations for electric vehicles. Eight parking spaces on level 4 are located on the Big Blue Platform. Via the Long-Term parking lanes, enter the parking structure and follow the green EV parking signs to level 4, then turn right. Eight parking spaces are on level 8 at McNamara Deck. For the most straightforward entry, enter from the departure level entrance. Enter through the Long-Term parking entrance into the parking structure and follow the green EV parking signs through the fence's arms, then turn left. In the valet parking area, two parking spots are located. At the South Cell Phone Lot on eastbound Eureka Lane, west of John Dingell Drive, two parking places are located at the South Cell Phone Lot.

Only within the designated Rideshare area inside the Big Blue Deck, Level 1 or McNamara Parking Garage, Level 4, can passengers meet their driver. At the McNamara Terminal, continue to the elevator bank on level 6 of the Ground Transportation Center when crossing the Skybridge.
